What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage and scripts that read information about your browser, can do the same job. Some are essential for a site to work; others are used for analytics or advertising.

Our approach

This site does not currently set any cookies, and it does not store anything in your browser’s local or session storage. We do not use advertising, retargeting or social media tracking cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Because of this, we do not show a cookie consent banner.

Technologies we do use

  • Vercel Web Analytics — counts page views and the pages people visit, so we can see which content is useful. It works without cookies and reports aggregated, anonymised statistics. It does not identify you personally.
  • Vercel Speed Insights — measures how quickly pages load in real browsers so we can fix slow pages. It works without cookies and reports aggregated performance data only.
  • Bot protection — when you use our contact form, a script checks characteristics of your browser to tell people from automated spam. We also limit how many messages can be sent from one IP address. This information is used only to protect the form.

Managing cookies

Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies through their settings. You can also use your browser’s privacy or content-blocking features to stop analytics scripts from loading. Blocking these will not stop the site from working, although the contact form may ask you to email us directly if it cannot confirm you are not a bot.

Changes to this policy

If we start using cookies — for example, for new features or different analytics — we will update this policy before we do, and ask for your consent where it is required. The current version will always be published on this page, with the date it was last updated.
